Need to change my tire, but lug nuts are way too tight. What can I do?

Get a breaker bar or find a long pipe you can fit near the end of your tire iron and use it as a lever. The longer the lever, the more power you get.

    • take it back to the last place that did job on your tires if your tire is not flat and you can drive it .They might have used a air gun to tighten the bolts and that's the wrong way . it should all ways be done by hand .And always ask for that tobe done at a auto shop so this does not happen again .If you can't bring the car back try WD40 oil spray on the bolts and let it stay for a hour and try to loosen them or a human that is a lot stronger then you. Obviously your home now .

    • Go to Sears or Lowes and buy a 15 inch breaker bar and a long impact socket. You get get the total family to stand on the breaker bar until the lug nut loosens. Make sure to use at least a 15 inch breaker bar and IMPACT socket. They are thicker and will hold up.

    • What I do is use a four way lug wrench and one person hold the left side level pressing down while the other person stands on the right side. Or take it to someone with an impact wrench to loosen them up.
